"Ms. Margie, did you know that a star is a gigantic burning ball of gas?"  -Paige R.

"Ms. Margie, there's nothing about Chihuahuas in this book! (looking at a dog book)  There's no pictures so I can't see what they look like.  Can you get a picture of one for me from the Internet?  And make sure there's words with it too because I want to learn about Chihuahuas."  -Sydney

While practicing their Christmas Caroling on Dec. 15th, Sydney showed Ms. Jackie "the real way to bow".

"Wow!  That sure looks like a bow!"  -Ms. Jackie
"Yea, Ms. Margie taught us." -Sydney
"Oh well Ms. Margie knows a lot of things." -Ms. Jackie
"Yea, she's our teacher.  She's the boss of the class." -Reece

Below you will find quotes, stories and conversations that teachers or parents have recorded....  Enjoy!

During "class news" each child gets a turn to talk.  They often tell the class something about their day or something new and exciting.  Some of the best quotes are heard during "class news":

"Well I saw Aliens in the Attic." -Vinnie
"Did you see it at the movie theater?" -Mrs. Surniak
"No, on um... ya know... On Demand Time Warner Cable."  -Vinnie

"I'm getting to be an old man... I have hair on my legs."  -Connor

Ms. Jackie enlisted Abby's help to re-sort the art materials.  Abby was excited to be of assistance. While working, this conversation took place...

"Yawn!  I'm getting tired of doing this!" -Ms. Jackie
"I'm not.  I got a good night's sleep." -Abby
"That's good.  I didn't.  My baby was up all night crying." -Ms. Jackie
"Well then you should put the baby back in your belly." -Abby
"Hmm... how would I do that?" -Ms. Jackie
"Through your belly button." -Abby

Side note.... Abby's mom is pregnant! :)

In Gymnastics, Reece puts her hand on Rylee's shoulder and says...

"Just watch and learn at all the cool things I can do!"

Ally brought two small pieces of paper outside. She wrote on each of them:
"I like to go there"

She made her dad and I sign one of the pieces of paper, stating we were voting on Hometown Buffet for dinner (which is where she was told earlier we were going to dinner).

She then wrote every name she knew how to spell on the other piece of paper, and stated those people were voting for Eat 'n Park.

She said her dad and I were out voted, because there were 5 signatures on the Eat 'n Park paper (including her own) and they won the vote, so that's where we were going to dinner.

I blame Parma Preschool for teaching Democracy to my child.
